My Story

Hello, I greet you in the name of Jesus, and I hope you and your lovely family are fine! Praise the Lord my family and I attend a Christian Church; we go on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us because it is important for our spiritual life. I am doing well and enjoying good health. Please, pray for my mother because she suffers from high blood pressure; she is under medical care in the health center and is taking her medicines. My mother is Eldy Argentina Vasquez Lopez, and she is 50 years old. She makes a living by cleaning houses to get money, and she supplies our needs. This time I will share information about my father. We have said that he abandoned us, but in fact, he was in prison. He got out some time ago, and last year, my mother accepted that he returned to live with us. I do not have his last name, but he wants to legally recognize me in the future. My father is Hector Rolando Gonzalez, and he is 50 years old. For now, he is working as a security guard and contributes to the home expenses.

My name is Nici Nasaret Vasquez Lopez, and my current age is 13 years old. Fortunately, I received my classes at school again, I was in 4th grade this year, and I was easy for me to comprehend the lessons. My family was striving to buy school supplies and uniforms, and it was hard because now everything is expensive. The languages I would like to learn are English and French; those are very interesting for me. My favorite drinks are water, milk and Coca-Cola. My pet is a cat. Football is the sport I like the most. Christmas is my favorite season of the year; I am on holiday, and I like to light firecrackers. On my birthday, my family invites me to go out to someplace; I enjoy my day with my loved ones. Being part of the feeding program from Living Water is a great blessing for me because I receive food and medical care in the clinics; I frequently receive vitamins. For now, the top priority is groceries. Well, for the time being that is all. May God bless you wherever you go!

Bunch of hugs,

Nici Nasaret Vasquez Lopez
