My Story

Hello! I am writing to thank you for always being so kind to me. I hope you are having an amazing week! Please receive warms regards from Marcela Suleyka Garcia de la Cruz. I am 10 years old now and I feel so happy because I am in 4^th grade. I have attended the feeding program for three years. What I like best is praying for lunch. Thank God, I am healthy. When I come home from school, I help my mother washing the dishes and sweeping. In our country, there are only two seasons. It is winter and summer. Both are blessings for us.

I would like to ask for your prayers because my parents are having health problems. My father suffers from uric acid and takes medicine. My mother has a hernia in her stomach. She was diagnosed in a Public Health Center but is not under medical control due to lack of financial resources. She only takes natural medicine for pain. My father still works both as a farmer and as a day laborer. My mother stays at home doing the chores, and she earns money raising and selling hens and pigs. In addition, she also grows cabbage and broccoli to sell. My parents are grateful for the support I receive through the feeding program. It is a big blessing for many families in our town. My family attends a group which belongs to the Catholic Church called “Renovacion Carismatica”. We appreciate the time LW took to encourage us to continue trusting in God. I say goodbye to you for now. I pray God pours out many blessings upon you and your family.
