My Story

Hello! My name is Emily Johanna, and I am writing to tell you about my family and me. I would like to start my letter asking for your prayers for my father because he is still suffering from pneumonia. He is not under a medical treatment due to our low resources. He has only been checked at the local health center. It affects him a lot, and it is difficult for him to work with this condition. He does his best working as a farmer. My mother has to work hard to cover our basic needs. She works as a day laborer, does the laundry for others, and grows corn. Thankfully, she is in good health. She is an attentive parent, and she helped me to write you this letter.

I am in 5^th grade this year, and I happy because I have always passed my grades. I am very grateful to God because He has helped me to do a good job at school. I am in good health. I have a friend that I met at school, and her name is Mayra; we like playing soccer in our free time. My mother and I trust in each other, and I identify a lot with her. As a family, we are attending Assembly of God Church, and we love it when there are thanksgiving services for the harvest. LW Evangelism team has encouraged us to continue trusting in God in spite of the difficult times; we are grateful for their words. For me, Jesus is my Savior. I say goodbye to you for now hoping you find my letter interesting.
