My Story

I am Manuela and I praise the Lord for allowing me to share a little bit about my life with you. I hope you find my letter engaging. My family and I still attend the Sovereign King Church. We usually attend our services twice a week. God has never stopped being good to us. As proof of this, my siblings and I have received delicious lunches at the feeding program. So, we consider that LW has been a great blessing for us. We are also grateful and happy because the teachers of this project shared the gospel with us. One of them collected this information for you. My father is Pedro Tiniguar, and he is 47 years old. He works as a day laborer from Monday to Saturday to support our expenses. He also grows corn and beans for our consumption. My mother also helps him with her income since she makes typical weavings. She also raises pigs, hens, and turkeys to get extra money, although she does not always sell them. Her name is Jeronima Gonzalez, and she is 44 years old.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, I would like to count on your prayers for her health. She suffers from heart issues. However, she already visited a doctor and takes medicine to treat her condition. The rest of my family and I are in good health. Today, I work in the field for some of my neighbors to help my family with the expenses. Unfortunately, this is not a stable job, so I hope to get one soon. The end of the year celebrations are the best, especially if it is New year because my family and I enjoy it so much. Lemonade is the most delicious, so I love it. My birthday was in March, but I do not celebrate it because of lack of money. Despite this, I usually wake up so happy and get ready to enjoy my day. I do not practice any sport, although I would like to learn how to ride a bike. I leave you now, but I hope this letter finds you doing well.

Kind regards,

Manuela Tiniguar Gonzalez
