My name is Blanca Sicely Xunux Sut and I am seventeen years old. I am in the ninth grade at school and I am receiving guides to do at home. I deliver and receive more homework every ten days. It has been a little difficult for me to continue with my studies because my parents have expenses. I help my mother to make tortillas in the mornings and I study in the afternoons. My father works as a brick layer helper in the Municipality, and he covers the home expenses. My mother has a small tortillas business, and she contributes with the expenses. The current situation of the Covid-19 affected us in our economy because they lowered my father´s salary and my mother did not have many sales in her tortillas business. Thank God, we could survive with the little that they earned.
We have seen God´s faithfulness because He has given us health and our food. It was a great blessing for us to receive the grocery bag from the feeding program because it provided the basics and all the products were healthy. My family and I are very grateful to Living Water for supporting us. We know the effort that the teachers made to bring us groceries at home. Fortunately, we have not been infected by covid-19 virus and my family is in good health. I am having some spots on my body, but I am not in medical treatment yet. I hope to attend the LW clinic soon. We attend Catholic Church. I say goodbye to you for now with much love.
In Jesus name,
Blanca Sicely Xunux Sut
