My Story

Hello! I want to start this letter by praying that God’s peace be with you. My full name is Aidy Yanira Garcia Morente, and I am glad to share a little about my life with you. Fortunately, I am a healthy 15-year-old girl. I dropped out of school because I prefer to help my grandmother with the household chores. I also work as a day laborer to help my family a little economically. I want to share that the most challenging experience I have had was when my mother got seriously sick. That was about three years ago. I was discouraged, but God put his healing hands upon her. Today, she is a healthy and hardworking woman. I do not live with her, but she takes responsibility for my needs and keeps in touch with me. My mother still sells Herbalife products.

I have lived with my grandparents since I was three years old because they felt alone and needed someone to be with them. My grandmother raises and sells chickens and turkeys. On the other hand, my grandfather works by making artisanal wells. Luckily, they are doing well. Jesus is our Savior, so He has a special place in our hearts. My grandparents and I attend the Prince of Peace Church. There are many engaging activities at church, but our favorite is the anniversary celebration. I want you to know that my best friend’s name is Wendy. We have been friends since we were young. We usually get together to play soccer and talk. Thank you so much for reading my letter! I want you to know that my grandmother and I were glad to share all this information with LW.

With love,

Aidy Yanira Garcia Morente
