I hope you are having a blessed day with your family! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Catholic Church, and we go twice per week. We have already accepted Jesus in our hearts, but we appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us this time. My father is Domingo Tino, and he is 51 years old. He makes a living by working as a day laborer in our village to support our family. My mother is Tomasa Gutierrez, and she is 49 years old. Most of the time, she stays busy with the duties at home. In addition, she raises hens and pigs. At home, we grow corn, coriander, chayote, and peaches for our consumption. Thankfully, we all are in good health.
This is Rosa Florinda Tino Gutierrez, and I am an 11-year-old girl. I am in 3rd grade; I am learning a lot since my classes are at school. Covering the school expenses is hard for my parents because of a lack of resources, especially now that everything has increased. My native language is K'iche´ Mayan dialect. I can speak a little Spanish, but I would like to improve it so that I can communicate better with other people. When I grow up, I would like to be a teacher. Playing football is so much fun; it is my favorite sport. I like drinking coffee; it is my favorite beverage. My family celebrates my birthday with a delicious hen broth; they make me feel so special. During Holy Week, my family has the custom of buying bread and eating it with honey; I like it. Being part of Living Water is a big blessing for me because I receive tasty meals, and medical attention in the clinics which is a big help for me and my family. My family needs groceries, and clothes. Sending much love hoping to hear news from you very soon. Many and rich blessings for you!
Bunch of hugs,
Rosa Florinda Tino Gutierrez
