My Story

Hello! I feel so blessed to greet you through this letter. My name is Fatima Arely and I hope you are doing well. Let me tell you that my family and I still attend Adulam Christian Church. We usually have services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. My mother’s name is Maria Elvia Cecilia Lopez and she is 37 years old. Since my father passed away, she has not stopped to work hard to support our needs. I would love to count on your prayers for her health. She suffers from a fatty liver. She tries to keep stable by taking her medical treatment. My mom does her best for our family, but it has sometimes been complicated for her to support all the expenses. Our greatest needs are food and shoes. Now, I want you to know a little bit more about me. I am fifteen years old and my dream is to become a famous lawyer. I am in ninth grade this year. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because teaching is better. My favorite season is summer because I have fun playing water with my siblings.

What I love drinking the most is hibiscus tea. I would love to speak a new language like Chinese Mandarin. I hope to accomplish it someday. I had my birthday in January. What I love the most is having a delicious cake and singing the traditional birthday song to celebrate with my family a new year of life. There are many engaging sports, but my favorite is basketball. As for health, let me tell you that my family and I are doing well, although my older brother has vitiligo. Therefore, he must wear special body creams and sunblock. To end this letter, I want you to know that LW is a great blessing to my family and me. Thanks to your loving support, we have received so much help and have listened to God’s news at the feeding program. May God reward you bountifully for all you do for us! To update you about my last news, an AAC member asked for my mom’s help. I say goodbye to you for now, but I want you to know that my family and I have a lovely cat at home as a pet. I hope to tell you more about my pet soon.

Cordiality yours,

Fatima Arely Pineda Lopez
