My Story

My sincerest thanks for allowing me to be part of the feeding program. Please receive warm regards from Roman Birss De La Cruz Yat. I turned 16 years old in June. I did not attend school due to our low resources. Living Water has been blessing me with lunch and medicine for seven years and I am immensely grateful to them. I enjoy attending because I like to spend time in the playground. I help my father with jobs around the home. I love cold weather because it lets me use my favorite sweaters. I would like to play an instrument at church.

Let me tell you a little about my family. Thank God, they are in good health. My father makes a living working both as a day laborer and as a farmer. My mother stays at home doing the chores, and she earns extra money raising and selling hens. My mother remembers when she was part of the feeding program. It was a blessing because she enjoyed spending time in the youth group learning about God. Therefore, she wanted us to have this experience. She also had the opportunity to work as a tortillera for a time in Living Water. My parents are grateful for the support that our family has received. My family attends a Methodist Church Ebenezer. God has been good to our family, and every day we witness His mercy. My mother would like to ask for your prayers for God to take care of her children. It is all for now and I hope you like to read this letter.
