My Story

My full name is Byron de la Cruz Gutierrez, and I am so happy to share a little bit about my life with you through this letter. I am 13 years old, and I am deeply grateful to God for helping me with the wisdom to learn all I need for my future. I remember that I got satisfactory results at school last year. That allowed me to attend the fifth grade this year. I tell you that my family and I still do not attend any church, so a member of the LW staff shared the gospel with my oldest sister and me as an encouragement to seek the Lord. Jesus is my savior, so I hope to attend a church soon and learn more about Him. The one I identify the most with is my mother because she takes care of me. Besides doing the chores, she dedicates time to raising and selling chickens to contribute to the expenses, while my father keeps busy in the field working as a day laborer and farmer. I tell you that my best friend is my brother Hugo. We love playing soccer and marbles in our free time. He is the best brother and friend I could ever wish for! This is all for now, but I want you to know that my oldest sister helped me compose this letter. Sending you many huge hugs.
