My Story

Hello! My full name is Cristian Emanuel Lopez Lara, and I want to express my deep gratitude to you for taking the time to read my information. God has been good and thanks to his divine providence, I have attended the feeding program for almost three years. I am so grateful to my friends who invited me to go there with them. LW-Adopt A Child has been a great blessing for my family and me. We pray that God pour lots of blessings upon this organization and all those who donate with generosity. I am 14 years old and I like the cold weather because I do not sweat and can do all my activities comfortably. Fortunately, my health condition is good and I attend the eighth grade at school.

I do the dishes and clean my bedroom to help my mother with the chores. She dedicates her full time to taking care of our family, while my father works for the city hall as a trash collector to cover our needs. We are a Catholic family and enjoy taking part in the activities at church, such as processions and masses. We know that being admitted into Heaven is the biggest grace that God gives us even though we do not deserve it. However, sister Raquel (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged us to trust in God’s promises and persevere to reach that spiritual goal by having good behavior in the Lord’s eyes. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for the well-being of my family. In advance, thank you so much!
