Hello! My name is Uejsi. I am 7 years old and my birthday is on July. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is brown and my future dream is to become a police. I go to school where I spend the first part of my day, learning and having a nice time there with my classmates and friends. I enjoy learning well in all the subjects we take in school and I have not a subject to pick that I like the best, since I am doing well in all of them. I return from school at midday and after enjoying the meal that my mother has prepared for me, I go outside to play with my friends who live near my house. I like to play with ball while we are outside and we do lots of other games and a lot of physical exercise, because while we play, we do lots of running, jumping, etc. When my mother comes in the house, after working, she follows me while I study for the next day of school. While she fixes our house and does cleaning, I also help her. Usually, we go out together when she buys groceries and I like to be with her to carry the shopping bags. Sometimes when she is free, we like to go out for walks by the lake. I live together with my mother in the town of Pogradec. My mother has rented a house for us to live in. The house is small, but enough for us both living in it. I am raised without my father. He died from cancer in an early age. My mother is working as cleaning lady for several houses that have hired her to do the cleaning for them. She is hired also in several flats to clean the stairs and corridors. The job she does is the most less paid job that is available so we are financially challenged. The government gives to me an amount, dedicated to orphans, but this amount is as less as it is not counted as worth. I have a step sister who is matured. She is married and lives far from our town, so we see her very rare, whenever she comes to visit us. My mother was married before she married my father and she married my father after her first husband, the father of my sister died from the very same illness, cancer. So my mother, after her second husband, who is my father has died, has chosen to live as widow. Living as widow, she is too challenged to provide income for us both. Being in hardships, we were suggested to attend the program of Adopt a Child and since we come together to t he church, we are benefiting a lot of help. I receive food packages provided from the program of Adopt a Child and frequent the Bible classes every Friday. I like the activities of Living Water church for children and am thankful to them for all of them. Thank you for the physical help and spiritual education offered to me. God bless you!
