Hello! I am your sponsored child, Juana Melisa Benito Ramos, and I am delighted to share my 2025 update with you. Thankfully, I am a healthy 7-year-old girl. I am already in first grade. After school, I do homework. This excites me so much because I am learning a lot. Even though going to school has been a nice experience, I have not made new friends yet because I am shy. I get along so well with my cousins. I like playing and gathering firewood alongside them.  

I am glad because my whole family is doing well. My father continues working hard as a farmer and day laborer. He also travels to the coast and cuts sugar cane for six months to earn extra money. Let me tell you that my mom does the chores and raises chickens and turkeys to sell. She is always looks after my siblings and me. When I asked her help to write this letter to you, she happily agreed. My family and I still do not attend a church because my father does not allow us to go. This makes my mom sad, so I beg you to pray that God touches my father’s heart and we can attend church as a family. I leave you now, but I hope this letter finds you well. See you later!
