My Story

Hello! I am Jorge Adolfo Matias Chavez, and it is a blessing to share a little about my life with you. I am a healthy 8-year-old boy. I am enrolled in second grade this year. I get along well with my cousins, especially with Edgar. We have a lot of fun playing with toy cars. I kindly ask you to pray for me because I sometimes feel sad for not having my father with me. As you know, my parents are separated because they had marital problems. My mom has prayed with me, and I have felt God’s love and care. She taught me that Jesus gave his life for me, so He deserves to be in the first place in my life. My mom works hard to support our family since my father does not help us economically. We do not know anything about him either.

Thankfully, my mom has a job in a plant nursery. While she works, my sister and I are under the care of my aunt, Aura. I like spending time with her because she prepares delicious food. I am pleased to tell you that my grandfather lives with us. His name is Arturo Chavez, and despite his advanced age, he farms the land and helps us economically. Let me tell you that a member of the LW staff shared a verse from the Bible with my mom and me because we still do not attend a church. He also invited us to attend Liberty Church, which we appreciated greatly. This happened while we shared all this information. See you later!
