My Story

This is Ana Maribel Grave Garcia, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are not attending a church, so LW Evangelism team shared the gospel with us; we are grateful for their words. We raise hens and grow corn for the family consumption. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries, corn and clothes. My father’s name is Feliciano. He is 27 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a mason helper to support the family. My mother’s name is Carmelina. She is 23 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and takes care of us.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 8 years old, and I am healthy. I am now in first grade, and I am learning many things. It has been difficult for my father to cover my school expenses because everything is more expensive now. I want to become a businessman when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because we light fireworks and eat “tamales”. I enjoy singing and praying when it is my birthday. I prefer football as a sport, and I love drinking “atol de masa” (hot drink made from corn). I want to improve my Spanish since I speak Quiche dialect as my first language. Living Water is very important in my life because I have been blessed for many years through it. I hope to hear from you soon.
