My Story

Kind regards to you! This is Jezer Jared Quexel Mixiya, your sponsored child. I am excited to tell you how my family and I are doing. Before starting, let me tell you that a teacher of LW evangelism team helped my mom and me to write this letter to you. I am 11 years old, and my health condition is good. I am in fifth grade this year. I attend school from 7:30 to 12:30 pm. What I enjoy the most is listening to music on weekends. After school, I like attending the feeding program. My favorite food is Bolognese spaghetti. Besides having delicious meals, I also have medical and dental care thanks to your loving support. Helping the LW staff with their tasks as a volunteer catches my attention. It would be fantastic to use my energy to help them in the future.

Talking about my family, let me tell you that nobody is sick. My father is a mason. His job is demanding, so he has to travel to other towns. My mom dedicates her full time to looking after our family and me. We attend Remainder of Love Christian Church. I am glad because my mom accepted Jesus a few years ago. She has the privilege of serving in the chorus of our church. As for my father, let me tell you that he has known that Jesus is his Savior since he was a little boy. Currently, he plays the guitar during the services at our church. Fortunately, my siblings and I also have privileges at church. For instance, I assist a teacher at the Bible Sunday school. Please pray for my family so the Lord keeps us healthy and safe. I will leave you now, but I want you to know that I celebrated Christmas at the feeding program last year. What I enjoyed the most were the games, food, and gifts. May the Almighty reward you richly for blessing my family and me!
