Hello! How are you doing? My name is Cristina Maribel, and I am glad to tell you my news through this letter. I hope you find it engaging. My family and I still attend the Catholic Church in our town. We usually attend mass every 15 days on Sundays. We are grateful to a teacher of LW for sharing the gospel with us. Besides that, that teacher asked my mom for help to collect all my information to update you about my life. My mother is Zoila Rosario Garcia Ajqui, and she is 30 years old. She works by tending public restrooms in the market on Thursdays and Sundays. My father is Domingo Garcia, and he is 37 years old. He makes a living as a day laborer. Fortunately, my whole family is in good health.
As for my education, let me tell you that I was in third grade this year. I enjoyed attending school because I understood the lessons much better. My parents did their best to support my school supplies. However, it was difficult for them because everything has been expensive. My dream is to continue studying to become a professional, although I still do not know what I want to do to make a living. I love Christmastime because my mom prepares tasty tamales. My native language is the Kiche dialect and I know a little Spanish. I would love to speak that language fluently. I hope to accomplish it someday. I am 11 years old, and I am in good health. My family and I do not celebrate birthdays because of a lack of money. I would love to celebrate my birthday someday. There are many sports, but my favorite is soccer. I love drinking lemonade. To end this letter, I thank you so much for being part of those who bless many needy people like me. I have had delicious lunches at the feeding program. I say goodbye to you now, but if you want to know more about me, feel free to ask me.
Many kisses and hugs,
Cristina Maribel Garcia Garcia
