My Story

Hello! This is Felipa De la Cruz Luis and I am 5 years old now. I started school and I am in Pre-kinder. I feel so blessed to be part of the feeding program. I have attended for 2 years, and what I like the best is hearing God’s word. In my spare time, I enjoy playing dolls. During the summer, I like to play water fights to cool off from the heat. I would like to be part of the praise team when I grow up.

I live with my lovely family. They are in good health, thank God. My father is a hardworking man. He does various jobs to support our family. He works as a day worker. He travels to the coast during the coffee season, and in addition, he works as a cargador carrying vegetables from one place to another in Guatemala City. My mother is in charge of our family. She does the chores at home and she spends her time raising chickens and pigs to sell. My parents are grateful for the support, medical attention and extra gifts that we have received in our family.

My siblings Abbidan and Yesenia travel to the Coast in November to work in order to help our parents. My family attends a Pentecostal Christian Church called “Manantial Jesucristo El Buen Pastor”.  God bless you and your loved ones.
