Hello! My full name is Dulce Mileydi Poz Can, and I am glad to share a little about my life with you. I am 17 years old and fortunately, I am in good health. As for school, let me tell you that I am in tenth grade. This is my first year of a training in Science and Art. I attend school on the morning shift. My favorite food is hamburger patties and mashed potatoes. I enjoy watching movies. That is the thing that I love doing the most alongside my family on weekends. As for my spiritual life, let me tell you that my family and I attend Ebenezer Church. We accepted Jesus as our Savior many years ago. My mom has the privilege of belonging to the women’s group at church. I do not have my father with me because he abandoned us many years ago. Nevertheless, the Lord has been so good with us, and thanks to Him, we have been able to move forward.
As proof of His mercy, my family is in good health. My mom works hard by cleaning houses. I beg you to pray for my mom. She does her best to provide all our family's needs, but it is challenging because everything is expensive. Our frequent needs are shoes, clothes, and school supplies. My mom sometimes cries and feels frustrated because she does not have enough resources to support our family. However, she is a brave woman who loves God. She asks Him for help and gives thanks for all the love and grace that my sister and I receive at LW-Adopt A Child. The food that we received from the staff during the pandemic was a tremendous blessing for us. I like celebrating Christmas at the project because of the special lunch. I want you to know that my young sister and I enjoyed my first Christmas celebration at LW when we were younger. The staff and collaborators performed dramas where they told us a story about Jesus. To end this letter, I thank you so much for reading my letter. A member of the LW staff collected all this information thanks to my mom’s help. See you later!
Affectionately,
Dulce Mileydi Poz Can
