My Story

I hope you are having a blessed day with your family; God bless you! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Assembly of God Church; we go three times a week. We are sure of our salvation in Christ. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy. My mother was Rogelia De La Cruz Quino; sadly, she passed away some years ago. My father is Antonio Tzoy Barrera, and he is 61 years old. He works as a farmer and merchant to supply the home expenses. While my father goes to work, my brother and I are left alone at home, but he leaves the food ready for us. At home, we grow coffee, and pacayas to sell and get extra income.

I am Rolando Tzoy De La Cruz, and I am a 13-year-old boy. This year I no longer attend school because I did not want to go; last year I was in second grade. For now, I am working in a mortuary place, and I do not earn very much. I use that money for my needs. I hope to find a good job and help my family. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. The sport I like the most is football. My favorite drink is an artificial juice called “fresh fruit”. Christmas is my favorite season of the year; I can share it with my family, and we eat “tamales” (a typical dish). Due to limited resources, we do not celebrate our birthdays, but I would like to have a celebration someday. I am so grateful to Living Water for providing me with tasty meals; it is a great blessing for me and my family. At home, the primary need for us is groceries. Take care of yourself. Every blessing for you!

Lot of love,

Rolando Tzoy De La Cruz
