My Story

Hello! Thank you for reading my information. My name is Lidia Carolina De La Cruz Garcia, and my age is 10 years old. Let me tell you that my family and I attend Pentecostal Prince of Peace Church on Wednesdays. I am sure of my salvation in Jesus Christ. I thank LW team because they shared the gospel with me, and they encouraged me to continue attending Church. By the grace of God, we all are healthy. My mother is Eva, and she is 25 years old. She does the chores at home and works hard as a weaver to supply our needs since my father is not very responsible. Furthermore, she raises hens and sells the chicks to get income. My father is Miguel, and he is 30 years old. He makes a living by working as a construction helper. Unfortunately, he drinks alcohol and does not always give us economic support.

Let me tell you that I am in 3rd grade, and I like to receive classes at school because my learning is better. I thank my parents for supporting me at school even though the school supplies are very expensive. Since my native language is Quiche dialect, I want to learn and improve my Spanish to communicate better with other people. On my birthday day, I like to sing the birthday song. My favorite sport is football. When I grow up, I would like to become a weaver; I think it is a very interesting occupation. I like the Christmas season because I like to see the firecrackers. My favorite drink is pineapple juice; it is delicious. To be part ofthe Feeding Program has been a great blessing for me because they do not make any difference between children, and I feel so happy when I attend. Our main needs at home are groceries and corn. Take care. Many and rich blessings!
