Hello! My name is Ofelia Veronica, and I am writing this letter to tell you about my family and me. I do not attend school yet due to my age; I am 5 years old. I stay at home playing with my dolls and toy dishes. Suleidy is my older sister, but she is also my best friend. We like playing dolls together. I identify a lot with my mom because we look alike; I love spending my time with her. For me, Jesus is a faithful friend and is with me in every moment of my life. My parents go to the coast at the end of the year, and I stay with my grandma. It is something hard for me, but God has consoled my life in those moments.
My father works as a farmer and day laborer, and he also goes to pick coffee beans at the coast for three or four months once a year. My mother raises and sells hens to help my father with the income. Thankfully, my parents are both in good health. At the moment, we are not attending any church. My grandmother’s name is Rosa Coj Mucia, and she raises domestic animals for selling. I would like to ask for your prayers for her because she is having health problems. She has been suffering from a strong cough for a long time, and apparently, it is because her lungs are not working well. She has already visited a doctor, but it has not worked.
I tell you that we were living in my maternal grandmother’s house. Fortunately, my father was able to build our own house last year, and it is located 20 minutes away from my grandma’s house. My siblings and I did not want to move with our parents to the new house because we were used to living with our grandma, and in addition, my sibling’s school is closer to her house. Once in a while, we go to our parent’s house, but our mother frequently comes to visit us. My parents are covering all our needs, and my mother is always attentive to us; she helped me to write you this letter. Well, I say goodbye to you for now.
Sincerely yours
Ofelia Veronica Tzoy Calachij
