My Story

Hello! I feel so blessed to be part of the feeding program from Living Water and receive a big support. I am Marelyn Marisol Gutierrez Gomez. I am a 12-year-old girl. We do not attend church, and we appreciate that the evangelism teacher shared God´s word with us. He gives us life and gave his only son for our salvation. I recognize Jesus as my father. I would like you to pray for my family, especially for my mom. Since my dad left us, things have not been easy at home, and now, my mom is having alcohol problems. I am so sad seeing my mom in a vice, but I pray to God and I am sure he can help us.

My mom works as a day laborer and goes to peel chickens on weekends. My dad abandoned us some years ago, and we know nothing about him now. Since then, my mom struggles to take ahead our family. I am a 5^th grade student. I have a friend named Maria. We like to chat and our friendship is two years old. I have a maternal aunt that I like to stay with, and she has a nice personality. My siblings and I are doing well. I would like you to know that my mom, Dominga, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. Thank you for taking the time to read about me today.
