My Story

Dear Padrino: God's plans are perfect, and He allowed me to become part of LW and to be part of your life. I feel blessed to be able to say hello and tell you a little about my family and me. This is Encarnacion Melisa De la Cruz Garcia. I am 11 years old now. I am a healthy fifth-grade student. I have attended the feeding program for two years. I would like to thank LW for serving us lunch at school. I like to help my mother washing the clothes. I would like to sing at church. I live in the mountain. Sometimes, it is cold and other times it is hot, but I like both kinds of weather. I would like to sing at church.

My family is grateful for each blessing you have shared with us. My father still works farming the land and as a day laborer. Please pray for him because he suffers from severe headaches.

He has not visited the doctor due to lack of money. My mother helps my father to improve our income working as a farmer sometimes. Most of the time, my mother stays home doing household chores, but sometimes, she goes out to work as a day laborer. My whole family travels to the coast to work during the coffee harvest from October to February. My family is doing great and everyone is healthy. We attend a Christian church called “El Manantial Luz y Vida”. I ask you to pray for my family, that God may bless us with good health and provisions.
