Many blessings and greetings to you and your loved ones. I am Pablo Ricardo Jimon Pu. I am so happy to share some updated information with you today. First, I want to thank you for taking the time to read my update. It makes me feel so special to know someone from so far away is thinking about me. I hope you are well, and I hope this update blesses you as you read it. I am eleven years old, and I live in a small village in the mountains of Guatemala. I am in fourth grade this year. My hope is that I will pass my classes and be promoted to the next grade. I pray that God will help me to accomplish this by giving me wisdom and knowledge. I have a nice family with three brothers and one sister. My brother, Gabriel Jimon, is like my best friend. We are super close, and we love playing soccer together. Thankfully, we are all doing well. My mom’s name is Ana Pu Morales. She is a stay-at-home mom. She works in the house doing the chores, and she raises chickens to sell them and make some extra money for our family. I love my mom because she takes such good care of us, and she always makes sure we have what we need. My dad’s name is Victor Jimon Ajquí. He lives with us for most of the year, but at the end of the year, he travels to the coast to work on coffee plantations. He’s usually there for three months to harvest the coffee crops, and then he comes back. For the rest of the time, he works as a farmer and gets paid to do labor for other people. He works hard so he can provide for our family with what he earns.
We are a catholic family. We enjoy going to mass and I love learning about Jesus. He is a friend, and He died for our sins. I also love the service of thanksgiving each year where we thank God for the harvest. It is a very special and exciting service. My family has been blessed so much by the feeding program at Living Water Adopt-A-Child. It is a wonderful opportunity for me and my siblings to go to the program and get hot food each week. We also have access to the doctor’s clinic for free, and the teachers at the program are always so nice. They treat us very well, especially my older brother, who is special. A lot of people treat him differently because he is not like them, but at the feeding program, they make him feel so important. I hope you enjoyed reading my information today. I enjoyed sharing it. I pray God will bless you abundantly today and every day. I send a big hug to you and your loved ones.
With much love,
Pablo Ricardo Jimon Pu
