My Story

I am so happy to say hello to you through this letter. I hope this finds you healthy and having a lot of success in Jesus’ name. This is Ingrid Florencia Lopez Cahuec, and I am pleased to tell you that my family and I had a lovely moment celebrating my birthday. I turned 14 years old in June. I am grateful to the Lord for allowing me to live a new year. If you ask me who Jesus is to me, I will say He is my everything. I identify with my mom because we love going for walks together. She works hard as a domestic employee in Duenas town to support our family. As for school, I am glad to tell you that I am in fifth grade.

I want you to know that my father stopped helping us economically. We do not have communication with him either. I am a lucky girl because I have many friends. My best friend’s name is Paola. We became friends about three years ago. We love playing soccer when we get together.  To end this letter, let me tell you that a member of the LW staff shared the gospel and encouraged us to continue working on our spiritual life. We attend a Christian church called Sun of Justice. We enjoy the worship time at church. See you later!
