I am so excited to have the opportunity to write you this letter. My name is Anderson Emanuel Garcia Hernandez, and I am 13 years old. Everything around the world has changed and especially the way to study. Most of the time, I study at home and I receive classes in person on Monday and Tuesday. I am in fifth grade and I submit my homework every eight days when I see my teacher. I receive only a few hours of classes and it is not enough to solve all the doubts that I have when I am doing my homework. In my free time, I like to help my grandfather look after the cows, I enjoy playing football. My father regularly works as a day laborer, but now he is working as a mason’s helper in order to cover our expenses. My mother is a weaver which allows her to stay at home taking care of us and our home. Thank God our economy has not been affected during this time. He always provided jobs and everything that we need in our home. We also were blessed with a grocery bag from the feeding program and from the school which came when we most needed them. My family and I are in good health and we are praying God continues keeping us safe from the virus. We are members of the Catholic Church, but we only attend on Sunday due to restrictions. I want to tell you LW team called my mother to obtain my information because the Feeding program continues to be closed to prevent the spread of the pandemic. They found this option to keep us in touch with you. We thank you for blessing us and we hope that God pays you back in a big way for everything that you have done for me and my family. God bless you!
Lots of love,
Anderson Emanuel Garcia Hernandez
