Child
I fondly greet you, wishing many blessings for you. In this opportunity, I will tell you a little about my life and how LW-Adopt A Child has blessed my family and me. I am Hector Rolando Gonzalez Coj, and it has been a great blessing to enjoy delicious meals at the feeding program for about ten years. What I like the most about receiving Bible lessons is learning more about God. My mother took me there because she wanted me to enjoy the blessings that she received when she was a child. She remembers with much joy that she had a lot of fun there alongside other children. I am 15 years old, and fortunately, I am in good health. I am in sixth grade and I usually help my mother to do some chores in my free time.
I prefer the cold weather rather than hot because it gets cloudy and that helps me to not get sunburned. I do not have my father with me because he abandoned our family many years ago. My mother is the main supporter of our family and she works hard as a day laborer. We live with my grandparents, uncles, and their own families. By the grace of the Lord, everybody is doing well. We attend the Catholic Church, and I am pleased to tell you that my mother does not have any doubt about being admitted into heaven because she accepted Jesus in her heart. Sister Yesenmia (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged her to not give up to accomplish the goal, which is being in Heaven with the Lord. It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that my mother helped me to write this letter. Until next time!
Kind regards,
Hector Rolando Gonzalez Coj
