My Story

Hello! My name is Kevin Alexander, and I am happy to share about my life with you. I am in good health, and I am in 5th grade this year. In my free time, I help my mom to wash the dishes. I love the hot weather because I can go to the river. Thankfully, I am in good health. I am 11 years old, and I have been part of the feeding program for about 2 years; I have learned about God at the Bible classes. My mother helped me with this letter, and she is very grateful to LW Ministry for all the support I have received there; it has been a great blessing for me. We heard about the program and how they helped needy children like me, so my mother took the good decision to register me in it.

My mother works as a weaver and raises hens for selling. On the other hand, my father works as a farmer, and thankfully, he is in good health. I would like to ask for your prayers for my mom because she suffers from diabetes and only takes natural medicine. As a family, we are attending Church of Christ, and God’s Word is what motivates me to attend it. I have Jesus in my heart, so I believe I can enter God’s Kingdom someday. I thank you in advance for your prayers for my family. I say goodbye to you for now.

With much love

AAC Note: We want to clear up the information about Kevin’s family situation. Mr. Benito Gomez Riz, and Mrs. Silvia de la Cruz Riz are Kevin’s maternal grandparents, but Kevin believes that they are his biological parents. Mrs. Santos Gomez is his biological mother, but she left Kevin with the grandparents when he was only one year old. For that reason, Kevin has grown up believing that the grandparents are his biological parents. The mother established a new family and moved to live in another place. She does not have communication with Kevin, and he thinks she is just his oldest sister. Kevin’s grandmother is the only one who covers his needs because the grandpa says Kevin is just his grandson; he only sometimes gives a little money for his needs. The grandparents asked A-A-C team to treat them as Kevin’s parents because they do not want Kevin to know the truth. We thank you in advance for always keeping this situation in mind.
