My Story

Hello! It is a tremendous blessing to share a little about my life with you. I am Melani Lisbeth Nas Lux, and I fondly greet you from the beautiful mountains in Quiche. I am a healthy 12-year-old girl, and I am enrolled in sixth grade. I kindly ask you to pray for my family because we are going through a challenging situation. My grandmother, on my mother’s side, is sick. However, we trust Jesus will put his healing hands upon her because he is our savior. I like hearing about Him at my church. We are members of the Prince of Peace Church. I identify with my mom because she is loving and takes care of me. She is dedicated to doing the household chores. She also tends a modest grocery store to contribute to the expenses. My father is a day laborer and sells clothes in the market. I am glad because my parents are doing well. Before concluding this letter, I want you to know that my best friend’s name is Paty Rodriguez. We became friends at school. We usually get together to do homework together. I will leave you now, but I hope to hear from you soon.
