My Story

I greet you cordially and wish you a brilliant day with your family. I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. I am Wilson David Jimon Osorio, and I am 16 years old. I want to let you know that we continue attending the Assembly of God Church every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. Thank you to the LW evangelism team for encouraging my mother to continue seeking God. This year I am not studying due to a lack of financial resources, but I am helping my father with his farming job. In the future, I want to travel to the United States and look for a job there in order to support my family. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. My favorite season of the year is winter because there is a lot of rain for the crops. I prefer to drink “mosh” (a hot beverage made with oatmeal). Soccer is my favorite sport. I cannot celebrate my birthday because of a lack of financial resources. I ask for your prayers for my father because he suffers from diabetes. Fortunately, he visited the doctor, and he is under medical treatment. By the grace of God, the rest of my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Maria Osorio Osorio. She is 50 years old. Nowadays, she continues doing chores at home. In addition, she is raising hens and a pig to sell and get some income. My father`s name is Victoriano Jimon De La Cruz. He is 51 years old. At the moment, he continues working as a farmer and day laborer. As a humble family, our current needs are corn and groceries. We are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every end of the year. Thank you for reading my letter. Every blessing for you!
