My Story

It is a wonderful day to greet you in the name of Jesus, hoping you are doing great! Praise the Lord, my family and I attend Pentecostal Prince of Peace Church; we go every fifteen days. My family and I trust our salvation in Christ. Thankfully, I am healthy and so is my family. My mother was Cruz Gonzalez de la Cruz, but she passed away about two years ago. My father is Silverio Jimon Gomez, and he is 50 years old. He works as a farmer, day laborer and shoemaker. We raise hens and a cow. At home, we harvest corn and black beans for the family's consumption and radishes and coffee to sell.

I am Marta Angelica Jimon Gonzalez, and I am 16 years old. Since my mother is not with us, I help with the housework and watch over my young siblings. English is an interesting language; I would like to learn it. Later, I would like to travel to the United States and support my family. I love drinking milk, which is my favorite beverage. The sport I like the most is football. On my birthday, the first thing I do is give thanks to God for blessing me with another year of life. I take this opportunity to give thanks for all the support I receive through Living Water; I am so blessed to be part of the program because I receive meals and medical care for free. At home, the primary need for us is groceries, corn, and clothes. With much love. Every kind of blessing to you!
