My Story

Dear Sponsor: God's plans are perfect, and He allowed me to become part of LW and to be part of your life. I feel blessed to be able to say hello and tell you a little about my family and me. This is Gustavo Enrique Portuguez Garcia. Thankfully, I am in good health. I turned 14 years old in January. It is been seven years since I started attending the program, and it has been a good experience. I learned to pray in this place. My chore at home is to feed the pigs. Furthermore, I help my mother to improve our income by working as a farmer and a day laborer. I enjoy playing soccer when it is the cold season.

God has used people like you to bless our family, and we are very grateful for that. I thank the Lord for my mother's life because she has worked hard to give us the best and to make sure we have everything we need at home. Most of the time she stays at home doing the chores. She works as a day laborer sometimes. We share our home with other relatives. My mother was a child from the feeding program and she has fond memories of when they played soccer with children in the program. May God bless you!
