Hello! This is Ana Carolina Ruiz Calachij, and I am writing this letter to tell you about my family and me. Currently, we are members of Church of Christ, and we attend the services on Tuesday. My father’s name is Juan. He is 40 years old, and he is in good health. He works in a barber shop in Zacualpa town, so he comes to visit us every Tuesday. My mother’s name is Rosa, she is 42 years old, and she is in good health too. She is a housewife and raises domestic animals. We have hens and sheep at home. My family grows corn, black beans, and legumes for our consumption. At the moment, we are in need of corn and groceries. I really love the feeding program’s food, and I feel thankful to Living Water and you for all you give me.
Now, I want to tell you about myself. I am 8 years, and I am healthy. I am repeating my first grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because it is easier for me to learn. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses since we are a big family and have many expenses. I want to become a teacher in the future. My favorite year’s celebration is Christmas because I play a lot, and we prepare “tamales”. I enjoy my birthday and I like sharing this time with my friends. I love soft drinks, and I prefer soccer as a sport. I speak Quiche dialect as my first language, so I would like to improve my Spanish. As in previous years, an Evangelism teacher collected this information for you, and she took advantage of this opportunity to share the Gospel. We are grateful for remembering that God is always with us. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to hear from you.
All the best
Ana Carolina Ruiz Calachij
