My Story

Hello, my name is Cristina Elena Garcia Garcia. It is a pleasure to greet you again. I am 10 years old this year and I go to school in the 1^st grade now. After school and on the weekends, I like to help my mother with the housework. I also love to go to the feeding program each week. They serve delicious meals to us, and I love all the food they make.  We have been greatly blessed by these meals and the medicines they provide for us when we need it. They also do a Christmas celebration at the end of the year and my favorite part is when we receive our beautiful gift. My father’s name is Ernesto Garcia Coj. Sadly, he is not doing well. He is not working right now, because he is struggling with severe leg pain. We pray he will get better soon. My mom is Martha Garcia Ruiz. She is a laborer for 3 to 4 days a week. She also takes care of the housework and grows corn for my family to eat. My family attends a charismatic church regularly. Thank God, my parents and sisters are very strong in their faith. I say goodbye now, but I ask you to pray for the health and wellbeing of my family. Thank you for taking the time to read about me today. I send you much love.
