My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus and I hope you and your family are blessed. It is a good opportunity to tell you a little about my family and me through this letter. About me: I am Jesenia Carmelina Ruiz Garcia and I am 12 years old. I am a healthy girl. This year I am in 6^th grade at school and I go to study every morning.  I spend my weekend by doing chores at home. LW has blessed my family and my life through the delicious meals for lunch like the “hilachas” (a typical dish) that I love eating. In addition, I have received medicine through the medical clinic. I enjoyed receiving my special gift during the Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. My family is grateful for every benefit that I have received from the Ministry.

About my family: My father`s name is Pedro Ruiz Gomez. He lives and works in the United States and thank God he is in good health. He provides for my economic needs and every month he sends a financial contribution. He accepted Jesus many years ago.  My mother`s name is Irma Leonarda Garcia Morente.  She also lives and works in the United States. I do not know anything about her job, but she supports me monthly with some money. She accepted Jesus in her heart many years ago. She is in good health. Fortunately, my parents call me every weekend.   I live under my grandparents’ care. My grandfather is Pedro Garcia. He grows corn for our family consumption. My grandmother`s name is Manuela Morente. She raises hens and cows to sell and get some income. I ask for your prayers for my parents that Jesus takes care of them. Nowadays, we continue attending the Assembly`s God Church called “Light and Life”. My grandmother is a deaconess and my grandfather is a preacher. The LW team encouraged my grandparents to continue seeking God during the visit. I hope you like to read my letter.  May God bless you always!
