My Story

First, thanks you so much for taking the time to read my letter. This is Kriystel, and I hope you find my last news engaging. At the moment, we do not attend any church. However, my mother could listen to the gospel thanks to the LW staff. They encouraged us to attend church again. Taking advantage of this, I want you to know that being part of this project is a blessing because of the loving support that I receive. My mother, Karla Alvarez, is 36 years old. She works by cleaning houses and spreading election flyers on the streets to support our family needs. Mr. Ricardo Poroj is my stepfather, and he is 39 years old. He helps us economically as a street vendor and also spreads flyers. My older brother Deivyd spreads flyers with them too.

Our resources are lower, so our most demanding needs are buying food and school supplies for me. Thankfully, my whole family and I are healthy. I am twelve years old and my biggest dream is to become a lawyer. Besides this, I would like to learn how to speak English. Therefore, I am doing my best as a sixth grader. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I learn my lessons so much better. I am twelve years old and my birthday was in April. What I enjoy the most is eating a delicious cake and playing to celebrate my birthday. Christmas is the best holiday because I love receiving gifts. My favorite hot beverage is coffee, and my favorite sports are basketball and soccer. This is all for now, but if you want to know something else about my life, do not doubt to ask it.
