My Story

Hello, it’s a pleasure to greet you today. My name is Sabino Alexander Grave Mejia. I am 11 years old, and I attend school in the 5^th grade. After school in the morning, I like to go out and play soccer. On the weekends I help with the chores and jobs in the fields. I love going to the feeding program every week and my favorite food to eat there is the fried chicken. My family and I have been very blessed through the meals that Living Water provides each week. I also love the Christmas celebration because we receive a wonderful gift.

Thank God, my family is well. My mother’s name is Lucia Meja Ramos, and she is a stay-at-home mom. On top of the housework, she also takes care of the chickens so she can sell them to make money. We also grow corn at home for our own consumption. My father, Jose Efrain Grave Cruz, lives in the USA. He traveled there many years ago to work, but he does not have a stable job. He is also struggling a little bit with his health since he got Covid a couple years ago and he is still experiencing the aftereffects. As a family, we have gone to a Catholic Church for a very long time. My mom is very confident in Jesus and sure in her faith. We pray for continued health and wellbeing of my family.
