My Story

Hello! My name is Fatima Esmeralda, and I happy to tell you a little about my life. I live with my family in Jocotenango town. I am attending school, and I am in 11^th grade this year; it is the second year of my training in computing. I am 18 years old, and I have been attending the feeding program for 6 years. My parents are very grateful to LW Ministry for all the support I have received at the program. They heard about this Ministry and its blessings, so they took the opportunity to register my siblings and me in it. I help to cook when I am at home. I love the cold weather because I can sleep with warm blankets.     

We are a family who believes in God, and we look for Him at the Catholic Church. Our favorite church’s activities are those made for Holy Week. We know that we will enter God’s kingdom someday because we trust in Him and our faith is in Him. I would like to ask for your prayers for my family and our health. My father works as a blacksmith in his own workshop while my mother works as a maid to help with the income. Thankfully, they are both in good health. Well, this is all for now. I thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
