My Story

I fondly greet you, hoping you and your family are enjoying all the grace of our good Lord. My full name is Sara Lisandra Garcia Chingo and I thank you so much for reading my information. I am 16 years old and I have attended the feeding program for about ten years. I receive Bible lessons, which I like a lot because I can learn about Jesus. I am 16 years old and I am keeping well. I stopped attending school a few years ago, so I am dedicated to helping my mother with chores such as sweeping and washing the clothes. I prefer cold rather than hot weather because it is refreshing. I like the ministry of worship in my church and I would like to serve there someday. My family and I are members of Ebenezer Church. God is our Lord and savior, so we feel motivated to go there to worship his holy name. I tell you that my mother is assured about her salvation because she already accepted Jesus in her heart.

Sister Yesenmia (a member of the LW staff) recently shared with her that she also has confidence in her salvation because she has Jesus in her heart. I tell you that my mother is a busy housewife and does her best to contribute to the household expenses by selling chickens that she raises. I kindly ask you to pray for her health since she has suffered from cysts in her womb. She already went to the doctor and needs a surgery, but due to a lack of financial resources, she has not been able to pay for it. About my father, I tell you that he makes a living as a mason. He suffers from diabetes, but he keeps stable thanks to the medicine. It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that my family is grateful for all the benefits that I can enjoy at the feeding program. LW-Adopt A Child has been a great blessing not only for my sister and me, but for many children in my village. May God continue using this organization to bless many other children!
