My Story

Hello! My name is Any Leticia, and I want to share a little bit about my life with you through this letter. Let me tell you that my family and I attend God’s Church on Wednesdays and Fridays. The one who covers all the expenses and needs is my father. His name is Emilio Lopez Grave, and he is 35 years old. Fortunately, he is healthy. He works hard as a day laborer at the coast. He usually travels every month. My mom keeps busy doing the chores and watching over my sisters and me. Her name is Juana Elizabeth Ixporcuac, and she is 30 years old. I would love to count on your prayers for her health. She suffers from body aches, but fortunately, she is already under medical treatment. We are a needy family. Some of our greatest needs are clothes, groceries like corn, and fruits.

I am 12 years old, and I am in second grade again. I enjoy attending school a lot, so I prefer to receive face-to-face classes instead of online. I am a Kiche dialect speaker, and I know a little bit of Spanish. I hope to improve my skills to become an expert in that language someday. My favorite holiday is New Year’s Day because I get excited to start a new year. Besides that, I enjoy celebrating my birthday because I love having a delicious and sweet cake. My favorite hot drink is mosh (it is a typical drink made of oatmeal, sugar, cinnamon, and water). To end this letter, I want you to know that my grandmother, Tomasa, helped me to give all this information to a teacher of LW. I will leave you now, but I hope you find my information engaging.

Lots of love,

Any Leticia Lopez Ixporcuac
