It is a blessing for me to say hello to you through this letter. This is Zulmy Griselda, and before anything else, I want you to know that a teacher from LW spoke with my mother to collect all this information for you. My family and I attend Stone of Salvation Church on Mondays and Fridays. We are sure about our salvation. Thankfully, none of us are sick. My father, Antonio Ruiz, is 37 years old. He strives daily to support our needs by working as a farmer and day laborer. He also grows corn and beans for our consumption. My mother, Elizabeth De La Cruz, is 36 years old. She is a housewife and tries to help my father with her income by raising and selling hens. We need groceries at home, especially corn. I am glad and grateful because I can attend the feeding program. It has become an important project for my family and me because of all the blessings we have received there.
As for me, let me tell you that my favorite celebration comes in September because of my birthday. I am twelve years old. What I love the most is having a delicious lunch to celebrate with my family a new year of life. This year, I am in fifth grade. I agree to receive face-to-face classes because I learn the lessons much better. Thankfully, my parents can support my school supplies because those are not expensive in our village. I am still young, so I have not chosen a profession yet. However, I would love to continue studying to develop my skills and find out what I should do to make a living when I am older. My favorite drinks are orange and apple juices. I would love to learn a new language like English. I hope to be able to do it someday. I like sports, but my favorite is soccer. Finally, I am glad to tell you that my mother just gave birth to a lovely boy. This is all for now, but I hope to tell you more about my youngest brother soon.
Sincerely yours,
Zulmy Griselda Ruiz De La Cruz
