My Story

Hi! I hope everything is running well in your life. I am Andrea Martina Pastor Mendez, and I am updating you about my family and me. Nowadays, we are members of Assembly of God Church, and we attend services on Tuesday. During the collecting of this information, an Evangelism teacher enouraged us to put our trust in God and be sure of our Salvation. My father’s name is Camilo, and he is 43 years old. He is not able to work due to a surgery he had before; he cannot do big physical efforts. My mother’s name is Ruperta, and she is 39 years old. She is a hardworking woman and does her best to cover our needs. She does the laundry of others and gathers firewood. We are a humble family and our greatest needs are groceries. We do not have domestic animals because we need extra money for their food. In addition, we do not have crops since we do not own a piece of land.

Now, let me tell you about myself. I am 10 years old, and I am healthy. I am in third grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face because there is a higher opportunity to learn and improve our skills. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses due to my father’s situation. I would like to work in a tortillas business in the future. My favorite year’s celebration is Holy Week because I share special moments with my family. When it is my birthday, I like dressing up in something beautiful. I love soft drinks, and I prefer soccer as a sport. I speak Quiche dialect as my first language, so I want to improve my Spanish. Living Water and you have been a great blessing for my whole family and we are very grateful for that. Well, I am ending my letter wishing you the best.

All the best
