My Story

It is a wonderful day to say hello to you hoping our Lord is taking care of you! My name is Jackeline Karina De La Cruz Ajqui. I am already 12 years old. I attend 6^th grade and my classes are on the morning shift. I like to do my homework and then, I help with some chores. My father is working now as a day laborer. I want to ask for your prayers for my father´s recovery because he fell off a truck; he hurt his left knee and had some wounds on his head. He had surgery and thank God, everything went well, and there was nothing to worry about with his head. He was 7 months resting and waiting for his recovery, and thank God, now is much better. About my mother, she is having pain in her arms so please pray for her health too. My mother is a housewife and works as a midwife. Additionally, she raises hens for selling and also sells eggs; in this way, she can supply our home needs especially since my father had the accident.

The Christmas celebration is very special in the feeding program; I love the carols and the gift I receive; it makes me so happy. I thank God for blessing us through Living Water; the meals and medicines for free are a great help for me. I love all meals from the program, but my favorites are fried chicken and “Hilachas” (a typical dish). We do not attend church, nevertheless, my parents have accepted Jesus into their hearts. It was so kind of the evangelism teacher to share the gospel and encourage us to look for a church to attend. This time one of my brothers gave this information to the evangelism staff to share news with you about me. I hope to hear news from you very soon. Many and abundant blessings over you!
