This is your sponsored child Andy Elias, and it is a blessing to say hello to you through this letter. I hope this finds you doing well. My family and I do not attend any church, although my parents are thinking of doing it someday. I am glad and grateful because a teacher of LW shared the gospel with my mother. That was a great blessing for her. Besides the spiritual support, I have medical care. I can receive medicines and vitamins in case of need. My father, Celso Chingo, is 31 years old. He makes a living as a mason’s helper to support our family. My mother, Juana Gomez, is 26 years old. She keeps busy doing the chores and watching over my siblings and me. As for health, I want you to know that nobody is sick. We raise a few hens and grow corn for our consumption.
I am in kindergarten this year. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I learning a lot. Nowadays, everything is expensive, so it has been hard for my dad to cover my school supplies. Our greatest needs are clothes and shoes. My favorite season is Christmas because I love receiving toys as gifts. I love drinking mosh con leche (that is a typical hot drink made of oatmeal, milk, sugar, and cinnamon) and my favorite sport is soccer. I had my sixth birthday in February. What I love the most is having a delicious cake and candies to celebrate a new year of life. I say goodbye to you now, but I want you to know that a teacher of LW spoke with my mother to get all this information for you. See you later!
With much love,
Andy Elias Chingo Gomez
