My Story

I greet you fondly, hoping you are in good health. My name is Brenda Carolina, and I want to share some news with you. I am 20 years old, and I live with my parents. We are members of a Methodist Church called Source of Life; we attend our services on Mondays and Fridays. I know the Lord is my savior. My father is Pablo Chingo, and he is 52 years old. Fortunately, he has a stable job to support our necessities. He makes a living in a hardware store in our community. My mother is Juana Morente, and she is 48 years old. She keeps busy doing the household chores. I want to ask for your prayers for her because she suffers from gastritis, and because of this, she also suffers from headaches. However, she is taking medicine. The rest of my family and I are in good health.

I am not working nowadays, but I help my mother to clean our home. I am still learning how to cook, and I trust that I will be able to do it well soon. Christmas is the best time for me because my family and I gather to spend special moments and enjoy delicious tamales (this is a typical dish). I am a native Quiche dialect speaker, but I would like to be able to learn how to speak Spanish. When my birthday is closer, I sometimes receive gifts, which makes me happy. I like sports, but my favorite is soccer. I want you to know that LW is a great support and blessing because I have received tasty food and medical care. A member of the Evangelism team of LW collected this information for you. This is all for now, so I send you many kisses and hugs from the bottom of my heart.

Sincerely yours,

Brenda Carolina Chingo Morente
