My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus and I hope you have a successful and blessed day. My mother`s name is Gloria Maribel Lopez Chicop. She is 28 years old. At the moment, she earns a living by working in a plant nursery in our village. My father`s name is Melvin Rolando Hernandez Guachin. He is 30 years old. Nowadays, he continues working as a mason in order to support us financially. I want to let you know that we are not attending Church. Thank you to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my mother and for their encouraging words to us during the visit. As a humble family, our current needs are groceries and clothes. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to tell you that by the grace of God, my family and I are in good health.

I am Melvin Leonardo Hernandez Lopez, and I am 10 years old. This year, I am in 4^th grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day. I am learning a lot with this study method. Thank God, my parents are making an effort to support me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that they do not have a stable job. In the future, I want to become a lawyer. I speak Spanish where I live, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. My favorite celebration of the year is Easter due to the special flower and sawdust carpets that the people make on the streets for the religious processions in order to celebrate Jesus' sacrifice. What I like to do for my birthday is to eat a cake. Orange Juice is what I like to drink. Among sports, I prefer soccer. I hope you like to read my letter.
