My name is Emily Fernanda Iveth, I am 6 years old and I live along with my family. I am attending 1st grade and I am receiving my classes online. My mother takes my homework and gives it to my teacher every week at school. My mother most of the time is busy with the chores at home. My father earns a living as a moto taxi and is the one who supplies our family needs.
Unfortunately, the covid-19 pandemic made things harder economically for my family. Currently, my father does not have a stable job and his income is not very much. In spite of the hard times, we are sure that God´s love has never left us because we have never lacked food at home. We were blessed with grocery bags as support from Living Water /Adopt A Child and it was really helpful for us. My siblings and I enjoyed the cereal and milk. My mother wants to express her gratitude for thinking of us during the pandemic. We pray to God asking for many blessings for you and everyone who contributes so that I can get this help. Thanks to God´s faithfulness, my family and I are healthy, and covid-19 has not affected us so far. We attend Restoration Church on Wednesday and Friday. We are following the biosecurity measures against the virus. I want to let you know that a member of the AAC team called my mother, Nora Hernandez by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I say goodbye to you for now. Many blessings!
Hugs with much love,
Emily Fernanda Iveth Mazariegos Hernandez
