My Story

Lots of kisses and hugs to you! This is Heily Yanely Yaneth Garcia Morente, your sponsored child. I hope this update finds you having a fantastic day. By the grace of God, my whole family and I are in good health. I am 11 years old and am doing my best at school. I am in fifth grade and receive classes in the morning. Now, let me tell you a little about my family. My father prepares and sells Mexican tacos and hamburgers. So, I like helping him with his business on weekends. My mom also has her own business. She makes and sells tortillas to help my father with the expenses at home. Fortunately, we can grow corn at home for our consumption.

My family and I have attended The Ark of Noah Christian Church for many years. Fortunately, my parents already accepted Jesus as their Savior. Currently, my father serves at church as a deacon. Let me tell you that Living Water has been a great blessing for my family and me. A teacher of the evangelism team talked with my mom about Jesus and encouraged her to continue growing spiritually. Besides spiritual support, this project has provided me with medicine for free. I like having fried chicken for lunch at the feeding program. Let me tell you that it is lovely to celebrate Christmas at the feeding program. My favorite part of the party comes when the staff delivers a Christmas gift to the children. I say goodbye to you now, but I ask you to pray for my family and our businesses. May the Lord reward you for your charity and prayers!
