My name is Jordan Alexander Ortiz Aquino. I am eight years old. This year I am in second grade, and taking face-to-face classes at school twice per week. I use study guides to do homework, so every week, I go to school and hand in my homework. Studying has not been difficult to me, because I have had my mother’s help. The thing I missed from the feeding program was, the time I spent with other children there. I get there in twenty minutes, so I walk. My father is paid to drive a motorcycle to deliver things. He does not live with us since some time ago, but he helps us with money but it’s not much. My mom works for a place, where she is a sales consultant. Whenever we can, we go for a walk, or we spend time together at home. We do not usually celebrate Christmas. At the moment, we do not attend a church.
The two-room house we live in, is ours. It has separate kitchen and it is made of cement block, tin sheet roof and concrete floor. The house condition is good, it does have electricity, but does not have running water, so a neighbor of us, is the one who provides it to us every two days, and we pay for it. Please pray for us to get the running water installed. Pandemic did affect my family. There was no work on that time, and getting one, was difficult. We had lack of food. Considering that food supplies is a basic need at home, I want to thank to the feeding program for the grocery bags we received. It was all a great help, and it contained all the necessary for every day. Thank you very much! My family and I are all doing well, currently. To finish, let me tell you that my mom provided this updated information about me, in person, to one member from the Evangelism team who visited us at home, for you to get news from me. I say good bye to you for now. Thank you for reading this.
Lots of hugs,
Jordan Alexander Ortiz Aquino
